Refund & Cancellation Policy
The official refund, cancellation, and transaction settlement terms for Pandit Dev Prabhakar Shastri College.
Transaction Safety & Refunds
This policy covers online admissions and semester fee payments processed via our digital channels. In case of failed transfers or billing anomalies, refunds are executed directly to the original bank account.
1. Failed & Debited Transactions
If your transaction fails or is interrupted due to connectivity drops, but the money is debited from your account:
- The payment gateway (Razorpay) will auto-refund the debited amount to your original source account.
- This process normally takes **3 to 7 working days** depending on your bank's settlement cycle.
- You can verify the status under transaction history or contact our accounts desk.
2. Duplicate Payments
In cases where a student accidentally initiates multiple payments for the same fee installment and the amount is debited more than once:
- The duplicate amount will be refunded in full upon verification.
- No additional transaction fee or deduction will be applied to double-billing refunds.
3. Refund Request Process
For academic withdrawals or other valid refund requests:
- Submit a formal refund request to the Accounts Department within the dates specified in the academic calendar.
- Attach the digital fee receipts and bank account details (copy of passbook/cancelled cheque).
- Email a copy of the request to: **refunds@pdpscollege.ac.in**.
4. Processing & Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed through bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) or Razorpay refund channels. The average processing time is **7 to 10 working days** from the date of formal approval by the College Principal.
