Pt. Dev Prabhakar Shastri College (PDPS College), Bamitha, collects personal information from students and visitors during admissions, portal registrations, and inquiries. This information includes name, parentage, contact phone numbers, email address, academic marks, course selection, and registration numbers.

2. Aadhaar & ABC ID Handling

In compliance with the Department of Higher Education (M.P.) guidelines, we collect Aadhaar numbers and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) IDs. These sensitive identifiers are transmitted over secure HTTPS layers, encrypted at rest, and are strictly utilized for academic verification and official degree linkage.

3. Online Payment Information

For online fee collections, transactions are processed securely through our payment gateway partner, **Razorpay**. The college does **not** store, process, or view your credit card details, CVV, UPI PINs, or net banking passwords. Razorpay processes all transactions in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

4. Third-Party Integrations

Our student portal utilizes third-party providers to deliver services:

• Razorpay: To facilitate secure online fee payment gateways.
• MongoDB Atlas: Secure cloud database storage for student registration profiles.
• SMTP Mail Server: To automatically send digital fee receipts and registration confirmations.

5. Data Retention & Rights

Student academic history, fee records, and admission files are retained in our active system for the duration of the student's enrollment and as required under university regulations. Students hold the right to verify, request updates to, or address discrepancies in their registered information by contacting the College Office.
